Mississippi Engagement and Wedding Photographer

Julia and Sonny chose a very sentimental location for their engagement session.  They actually met several years ago at the beach in Gulf Shores, AL.  How appropriate that they return their for their engagement session.  I put together this slide show of their engagement photos (minus the save the date images which havent been mailed yet) for you all to enjoy.

Mississippi Wedding Photographer

I absolutely had the BEST time photographing my first ever wedding back in May of this year.  I think editing these pictures was JUST as fun.  Brittnie and Brandon are the sweetest couple, and its so beautiful to witness their young love and their sweet little family.  Here's a first edit of a simple slideshow of their wedding.  Final edit/full version to come later as well as many more of their photos.  Enjoy!

Senior reps will also receive 50 rep cards to pass out to other high school seniors, 1 8x10, 8 wallets (one pose) 2 5x7s, a cool Captured by Mandie Newsom t-shirt, and images watermarked and ready to upload to facebook/myspace/blogs. 2 representatives from West Marion (1 male and 1 female)
Those applying to be representatives of Captured, by Mandie Newsom must have a great style, be comfortable in front of the camera, attend one of the high schools within Columbia/Marion County, be a 2011 graduating senior, have a parent or legal guardian sign a model release form, be willing to tell other seniors about Captured by Mandie Newsom and share your senior portraits with other seniors, agree to EXCLUSIVELY represent Captured, by Mandie Newsom for their 2010-2011 senior school year, be willing to complete a short questionnaire to be reviewed by a panel selected by Mandie Newsom who will choose representatives for Captured, by Mandie Newsom.

Here's What You Do:

Here's What You Get:
If you are chosen as a rep for Captured, by Mandie Newsom you will receive your rep cards within a few weeks of your session. Begin passing out your 50 rep cards immediately. The seniors you give the cards to DO NOT have to come from your school. However, in order for you to get credit, the referred senior MUST turn in your rep card on the date of their session. No card no credit. Each referred senior will get 8 wallets and 2 5x7s complimentary of me! I will keep track of the rep cards turned in and you will be awarded. That's right. Cold. Hard. Cash.

You will receive $5 per referral you send to me. Referrals end by May 15, 2011. I will tally the referrals and pay out your cash rewards by the end of May 2011. BUT THATS NOT ALL. The one who referred the most seniors to me will receive a $100 Visa Gift Card. 2nd place $50 Visa Gift Card and 3rd place $25 Visa Gift Card. This is IN ADDITION to the $5 for each referral. This could be A LOT of cash, seniors!

Spread the word, and let me start hearing from the class of 2011! I'm VERY much looking forward to working with you all this year! Also, I reserve to the right to make these rewards HIGHER should this rep thing exceed my expectations. Rewards will NOT be less than stated.

One More Thing:

Mississippi Child Photographer|Cake Smash

Another smashing good time with a gorgeous one year old!  Have I said already how much fun these sessions are??  I always start the session with some portraits.  It's great if we can do no more than two wardrobe changes.  Then, we move on the to the good stuff.  And when I say good stuff, I mean CAKE.  It's always so funny to watch the expression on the baby's face.  "Really?  I can have this???" When the realization hits that yes, they can eat this yummy sugary goodness with their fingers while we stand around and laugh...it's on.  Cake everywhere!

Mississippi Newborn Photographer

I finally got to get my hands on sweet baby Owen after having to reschedule TWICE (daggum gall bladder)!  This handsome guy was exactly four weeks old on the day of his session.  He slept like a champ!  At one point we even TRIED to wake him up, but he wasn't having it.  I think some other newborn must have told him that he was supposed to stay asleep for his session.  :)  He was so cooperative!  Remember, to leave a comment on this post.  If mom can get 15 friends and family members to comment on the blog (not on facebook) then she gets a free print.  So, leave some blog love!

I think these sessions are quickly becoming my favorite sessions to do.  I love getting those sweet one year portraits.  Children change and develop so much that first year.  Just think, from day 1 to day 365 they continuously grow,  develop language, form bonds and relationships, and we get to see their own little personalities bloom.  One year portraits are an extremely important occasion to document.  On top of that....there's CAKE!  And what on Earth is better than CAKE?!?!  Enjoy a few photos of my friend and neighbor's precious son, Brayden.  Remember, if Mom gets 15 friends and family members to leave a comment on the blog she receives a free print from her session! So, leave her some comment love and become a follower of my blog.  Also, if you or someone you know has a child turning 1, suggest they contact me for a Cake Smash/Portrait session.
